How To Naturally Remove Stretch Marks

How To Naturally Remove Stretch Marks

Stretch marks are visible off-color hue lines that appear on the skin surface. Even though most people tend to have stretch marks on the abdominal wall, it’s possible to find them on breasts, buttocks, upper arms, and thighs.

There are many reasons that can cause stretch marks. Even though they tend to be associated with pregnancy, they can also be caused by a rapid growth, a sudden loss or gain in weight, changes in physical conditions, stress, or even hereditary factors.

When your skin stretches, the collagen weakens and the production cycle of collagen is damaged and interrupted. So, this will lead to fine scars right under the top layer of your skin. While initially, they can be slightly red or pink, they will tend to look more silver over time.

So, how can you naturally remove stretch marks?

#1: Castor Oil

Castor oil is an oil that traditionally is used in many skin treatments. Some of the problems that it treats include pimples, fine lines, dark spots, moles, age spots, wrinkles, and stretch marks.

All you need to do is to massage the area where you have stretch marks gently with the castor oil, in a circular motion. Massage it for about 5 or 10 minutes and then just wrap the area with a cotton cloth that is thin. Then, you’ll need to apply some heat to this area. You can use a heating pad or a hot water bottle.

#2: Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera

As you probably already know, aloe vera is one of the natural ingredients that tends to be used in many different skin products. The truth is that its soothing and healing properties can also help you to get rid of your stretch marks.

The easiest way to use aloe vera is to get it in the gel format and rub it on the affected area. Just leave it there for about 15 minutes and then rinse your skin with lukewarm water.

#3: Egg Whites

While eggs are a great source of protein, when you’re trying to get rid of stretch marks you’ll only need to use the whites since they contain proteins and amino acids.

So, just whip the whites of 2 eggs with a fork. Make sure that your skin is cleaned and then just apply a thick layer of the whites with a makeup brush. Just wait until the whites are dry and then you can rinse the entire area with cold water. At the end, to make sure that your skin is moisturized, just apply some olive oil.

In order to see the results, you need to repeat this process for about 2 weeks minimum.

#4: Lemon Juice

Being naturally acidic, lemon juice will also be a great aid to heal and reduce your stretch marks. All you need to do is to rub the fresh lemon juice onto the stretch marks, gently, and using circular motions. Make sure that you be this way for about 10 minutes and then just rinse it off with warm water.
